Sprites

The Sprites folder contains sample sprite assets used by RuntimeKit.

These sprites are primarily intended to demonstrate animation playback, directional character support, and runtime testing workflows using content exported from Snap Studio Pro.

The included sprite content serves as example data and should be viewed as demonstration material rather than production-ready game assets.

Belongs Here

  • Character sprite sheets
  • Animation frames
  • Directional sprite sets
  • RuntimeKit demonstration sprites
  • Snap Studio Pro export examples

Does Not Belong Here

  • Runtime scripts
  • Editor tooling
  • ScriptableObject assets
  • Prefabs
  • Non-sprite content
Folder Purpose
ScriptableObjects/AnimationDefinitions Defines how sprite animations are loaded and played
Prefabs Uses sprite assets for runtime character visuals
Runtime/Characters Loads and displays sprite content at runtime

Design Notes

Sprites contained in this folder are provided to demonstrate RuntimeKit workflows and validate exported Snap Studio Pro content.

Developers are encouraged to replace the included examples with their own exported characters, animations, and visual assets.

RuntimeKit is designed to work with user-generated Snap Studio Pro exports rather than depend on any specific included sprite set.

Usage Notes

AnimationDefinition assets may reference sprite content located within this folder through Unity Resources paths.

Changing folder names, resource locations, or asset naming conventions may require corresponding updates to animation configuration assets.
