Managers¶
The Managers folder contains high-level runtime coordination systems used by RuntimeKit.
Managers are responsible for connecting runtime systems together in the sample scenes, such as selecting the active character, coordinating character swapping, and managing simple demo flow.
Managers should remain lightweight and focused on orchestration rather than owning low-level character, input, animation, or health behaviour.
Belongs Here¶
- Runtime scene coordinators
- Demo flow managers
- Character selection managers
- High-level runtime orchestration
- Systems that connect multiple runtime components together
Does Not Belong Here¶
- Character controllers
- Animation playback logic
- Input adapters
- Camera follow behaviour
- Health implementation details
- Editor tooling

Related Folders¶
| Folder | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Characters | Managers may spawn, swap, or coordinate character systems |
| Controls | Managers may respond to player input |
| Camera | Managers may assign camera follow targets |
| Health | Managers may observe health or lifecycle state |
Design Notes¶
Managers should coordinate systems, not absorb their responsibilities.
If a manager starts owning movement, animation playback, health rules, or input translation directly, that logic should be moved back into the relevant runtime component.
Keep managers small, explicit, and easy to replace.
