Camera¶
The Camera folder contains runtime camera systems used by RuntimeKit.
These components are responsible for following, framing, and presenting runtime characters within the sample scenes. Camera systems are intentionally lightweight and focus on visual presentation rather than gameplay logic.
Camera behaviours should remain independent from character controllers wherever possible, allowing different runtime objects to be followed or observed without modifying character systems.
Belongs Here¶
- Camera follow behaviours
- Camera positioning systems
- Camera smoothing logic
- Camera tracking utilities
- Runtime camera presentation components
Does Not Belong Here¶

| Controls | Input systems may influence camera behaviour in extended implementations |
Design Notes¶
Camera systems should focus on presentation and tracking responsibilities only.
Character systems should not directly control camera movement. Instead, camera components should observe and follow runtime targets through clearly defined references.
Keeping camera logic isolated makes it easier to replace, extend, or remove camera behaviours without impacting character or gameplay systems.
