Presets¶
Overview¶
The Presets folder contains user-created and system-generated preset files used throughout Snap Studio Pro.
Presets allow users to save, load, and reuse configuration data across multiple Snap Studio Pro systems without manually reconfiguring settings each session.
Purpose¶
The preset system exists to:
- Speed up repetitive workflows.
- Promote consistency across exports.
- Allow users to build reusable visual styles.
- Simplify sharing and backup of common configurations.
- Preserve preferred settings between projects and sessions.
Folder Structure¶

Stores animation export presets.
Examples may include:
- Frame rate settings
- Export ranges
- Sprite sheet options
- Animation capture preferences

Generated Content¶
Most preset folders are intentionally empty when Snap Studio Pro is first imported.
Folders are automatically populated as users create and save their own presets.
This is expected behaviour.
Examples include:
- Custom lighting presets
- Background presets
- Animation presets
- Volume presets
Modification Guidelines¶
Preset files are user data.
Users may:
- Create new presets
- Edit existing presets
- Delete unwanted presets
- Backup presets externally
- Share presets between projects
Snap Studio Pro will automatically manage these files through the preset interfaces provided in the editor.
Notes¶
The Presets folder acts as a central storage location for all reusable Snap Studio Pro configuration profiles.
While some folders may initially appear empty, they serve as designated storage locations for future user-created presets and are created intentionally to maintain a consistent project structure.
