Tests¶
Purpose¶
Edit-mode unit tests for Snap Studio Pro's pure logic layer.
This assembly (RevGaming.SnapStudioPro.Tests) exercises the deterministic calculation kernels in the Logic assembly — frame planning, path derivation, encoding, overlay anchor/blend, bounds, and sprite-sheet layout — without a Unity render context. It runs in the Test Runner's EditMode tab.
Owns¶
- Edit-mode test fixtures for the
Logicassembly - The test assembly definition (
UNITY_INCLUDE_TESTS-gated, never compiled into player builds)
Does NOT Own¶
- Tests for rendering, material swaps, or shader output — those stay a manual diverse-asset matrix (Synty character, alpha-cutout foliage, a vehicle, a non-skinned prop, weird materials), validated by eye against real assets, not NUnit.
- Production logic of any kind.
Allowed Dependencies¶
Tests may depend on:
Logic(the assembly under test)- Shared abstractions / Models (types the kernels expose or accept)
- NUnit + the Unity Test Framework
Notes¶
The split is deliberate: pure logic is fast and deterministic and lives here; anything that needs a camera, a GPU, or "does it look right" belongs in the manual asset matrix. New kernels added to Logic should arrive with a fixture here.
