UI¶
Purpose¶
Owns editor-facing user interface workflows for Static Sprite Animation features.
This territory provides the panels, controls, and user interaction surfaces used to configure and execute Static Sprite Animation workflows.
UI systems gather user input, display workflow state, and route actions into controllers and supporting services.
Owns¶
- Static Sprite Animation editor panels
- Export configuration UI
- Camera configuration UI
- Transform motion UI
- Preset interaction UI
- User workflow presentation
- Export option controls
- User-facing validation messaging
Does NOT Own¶
- Export execution
- Capture implementation
- Sprite generation
- Sprite sheet assembly
- Preview scene ownership
- Workflow orchestration
- Preset persistence implementation
- Rendering implementation
Allowed Dependencies¶
UI may depend on:
- Static Sprite Animation controllers
- Preset systems
- Shared panel systems
- Shared UI helpers
- Preview facade systems
- Infrastructure editor utilities
UI should avoid depending directly on:
- Rendering implementation systems
- Capture implementation systems
- Export implementation systems
- File persistence internals
- Environment export systems
Notes¶
UI systems are responsible for collecting user intent and presenting workflow configuration.
UI ownership includes:
- panel layout
- foldout organization
- user controls
- workflow descriptions
- validation feedback
- preset selection interfaces
Controllers own workflow execution.
Services own implementation.
UI should remain focused on presentation and interaction.
This separation keeps editor surfaces simple, testable, and independent from export logic.
Future Candidates¶
- Workflow wizards
- Export summaries
- Advanced validation feedback
- Preview overlays
- Capture visualization tools
- Enhanced preset browsing
- Context-sensitive help panels
